And it goes like this:

1/3 cup of water

1 tbsp. lemon juice

2 tbsp. honey

4 tbsp. Agar Agar powder ( a vegan gelatin substitute) or gelatin powder

1 dropper of Fortunate Source Berry flavor or natural flavor CBD

The sugar topping

½ cup confectioners sugar

What’s in the Fortunate Source Gummy Recipe?

You don’t have load up on unhealthy candies this holiday season. These treats are low-calorie, all-natural, and healthy– with a twist of relaxation, instead of making you hyper. This recipe is made with real fruit and no added sugar in the candy. You can leave off the confectioners sugar coating if you like.

To give your gummies that distinctive chewiness; we need to incorporate agar-ager powder, or gelatin powder. The result is an amazingly soft and chewy CBD gummy!  Instead of gelatin powder, you may also add some cornstarch for the gummy body to make your gummies stable and chewy.

Instructions

  1. Line a baking tray with plastic wrap like Saran wrap. Set aside.
  2. Puree your chosen fruit until smooth.
  3. Combine the pureed fruit, water, lemon or lime juice, and honey in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Remove from the heat. Add your Agar-Agar powder or  gelatin gradually to avoid lumps while continuously mixing.
  5. Return the mixture to the heat and bring it back to simmering temperature, until the gelatin has fully melted and the mixture turns glassy and smooth.
  6. Add Berry or Natural CBD oil
  7. Strain the mixture through a sieve onto your lined baking tray. Remove any bubbles using either a toothpick or spoon.
  8. Place in the refrigerator to set overnight, or for 8 to 12 hours.

Sugar Coating:

  1. Put the confectioner sugar in a plastic bag
  2. Remove your candy from the fridge and cut into squares.
  3. Toss your candy into the sugar. Shake until well dusted
  4. Serve and enjoy the yummy gummies!
